#When can an order be canceled?
Every customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase and cancel an order. Until recently on Allegro, buyers had 3 days for this, after which this option disappeared. The status of the order was also taken into account, as those in processing could not be canceled. Currently, the status of the order or the assignment of a shipping number to the order counts. If the status is not changed, or the shipping number is not added, the customer will be able to cancel the order.
Exceptional categories where order withdrawal is not possible include:
- Medicines,
- Codes,
- Online games,
- Gift cards,
- Investment products,
- Audiobooks and eBooks.
#How to avoid cancellations without disabling this option?
AleAsystent can automatically change the status of an order immediately after payment. This way, the customer will not be able to withdraw from the transaction without providing a reason. The system can set the status to processing or to be shipped.
This feature can be enabled in the settings in the Miscellaneous section.
#How does avoidance work?
AleAsystent constantly monitors orders and as soon as a new one appears, it automatically changes its status to one of the selected ones within just a few minutes. This action will prevent the customer from canceling the purchase.
